About us

I am Annelie Spronk. I live in the Netherlands in a little town called Steenwijk. Since 1962 I own labs,but only males. The reason for owning only males is because my husband was a hunter and he preferred males because he found them more steady and easier to keep and most important they didn't come in season during the hunting period.

We have always had lovely boys, yellow and blacks out of good English lines. Boulard was a yellow male who was a great working dog, even when the weather was very bad, he was a great Retriever. He was our favorite and my kids loved him. He was a excellent dog.

When the children were grown up we decided to have a bitch. It was always my great wish to have a litter and as I lived on a hill, my kennel is named: Hilldream's. My grandchildren love to come when I have a litter, they do great job petting and socializing the puppies.

I find health and temperament very important in my breeding program and of course I am also very pleased when they do nicely in the show ring.
